Soft as Flame is a female-driven psychological thriller set in the 1970's, inspired by the femme fatale trope, feminine rage, and the beautiful sisterhood that is innately shared between women.
We wanted to bring the fantasy of the alluring sirens of the sea into the real world and set it in a time when technology was limited and people could get away with a lot more. At its heart, we wanted to make a hauntingly beautiful film about women, love, and revenge.

This is a collaborative experience where we strive to make a high-quality short film while
making opportunities for local talent behind and in front of the camera. This particular
short film is not something we can carry ourselves, and we search for partners who
believe in making daring projects to bring this story alive. With you, it becomes more than
a project but an outlet where our creative minds together can push to make something
beautiful.
